SURREY CHAPTER
On September 23, 2015 the PIPE UP Network, along with allies from the Kwantlen First Nation, Kwantlen Student Association, Kwantlen Public Interest Research Group, and KPU faculty, did multiple presentations to Kwantlen Polytechnic Universities Board of Governors, requesting that they rescind a MOU they had signed with Trans Mountain Pipelines.
One week later the board announced they had backed out of the deal.
